I have been looking forward to this project and I am so excited to have a team assembled the most supportive possible! The recording studio is at Talley Sherwood’s, Tritone Recording and will be engineered by Steve Genewick and Jeff Hamilton is co-producing the record with me. The lineup of musicians that have become family to me are:
Roger Neumann – tenor saxophone. Roger’s career of over 50 years has included everything from playing in Woody Herman’s big band, arranging and writing for Buddy Rich and Ray Charles, accompanying Anita O’Day to leading his LA based big band, Roger Neumann’s Rather Large Band. He has the ability to make every playing situation feel good!
Graham Dechter – guitar. Graham is only 27 years old and has already had a lifetime worth of musical experiences. The list of people he has played with is secondary to his unique voice on the guitar, you know it’s Graham! He leads his quartet with John Clayton, Jeff Hamilton and Tamir Hendelman which has 2 records on Capri, Right On Time and Takin’ It There. Graham is a member of the Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra and currently resides in New York City.
